Volunteering with the Prince’s Trust

29 Regt RLC remains committed to supporting local charities and initiatives with its soldiers committing themselves to good causes even in their spare time.

One example is Pte Mcglone of 59 Sqn, who has been volunteering with The Prince’s Trust Team programme over the last 12 weeks.

His work has involved helping young adults to develop personal strengths, tackle weaknesses and develop an understanding of others, as well progress their own core skills to develop into employable young adults.

Pte Mcglone said: “It was a great experience working with participants from the Trowbridge area and would fully recommend others to try it.”

The Prince’s Trust Team programme operates nationwide and offers assistance to a huge range of young adults from differing backgrounds and circumstances. More info from https://www.princes-trust.org.uk
