Soldier Helps the Homeless

Elysia is a Postal & Courier Operator at 29 Regiment RLC she spends a lot of her free time giving clothes and toiletries to homeless shelters. Because of this her father nominated her for a prize with the online clothing shop Very, who wanted to reward someone who is always giving to others, from 37,000 other entries she was chosen as the winner. The prize was meant to be a holiday, however Elysia’s parents and best friend knew she would not accept a holiday so the company agreed to feed 100 homeless people a full Christmas dinner instead.

Elysia is now raising £15,000 to to buy a Mobile Soup Kitchen for the homeless

ABF South East hosted an incredible Inter-Regiment Dragon Boat Race last Sunday.
