Royal Marines commend RLC Commandos

The Royal Logistic Corps’ Commando Logistic Support Squadron has received a Commendation from the Commandant General Royal Marines (CGRM) Major General MJ Holmes CBE DSO.

CLSS Sqn, which is the supply and petroleum handing sub-unit of 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines, received its CGRM’s Commendation along with another award, during a visit from the 3 Commando Brigade Commander, Brigadier Matt Jackson DSO.

The CGRM’s Commendation was awarded for the Sqn’s high standards over the last two years, maintaining a high degree of professional competence in a Very High Readiness context, while consistently displayed exceptional Commando skills and fitness.

The second award was the Clifford Coates Trophy, awarded to the best Squadron that took part in the 2019 series of Commando Logistic Regiment CO’s annual sporting events.
