RLC scoops victory in men’s indoor hockey

The Royal Logistic Corps won the men’s 2019 Army Inter Corps Indoor Hockey Championships beating the Royal Signals 4-3 at the final in Aldershot.

The men’s match was dramatic from start to finish with the first RLC goal coming from a penalty scored by Gary Clark.

Minutes later, The RLC had their second with Kris Bubnelis firing home for the yellows.

Then Clark lashed home his second to make it 3-0 with The RLC dominating the first half.

Bubnelis had his second of the match after the break, RLC’s fourth goal of the match.

But the Signals did their best to make a comeback putting three in the back of the net and narrowing down The RLC’s victory.

The women’s match was a much more one-sided affair. During the final, the Adjutant General’s Corps (AGC) came out on top against The RLC with a 4-1 win.
