RLC Association Fraternity Events 2023

On behalf of Maj Gen (Retd) Ian Copeland CB, thank you for your support in 2022, particularly those who attended the inaugural social event at the Bicester Garrison Officers’ Mess in March and those due to attend the forthcoming Cenotaph Parade in London on Remembrance Sunday 2022.

What is pleasing to note is our membership across the rank structure continues to increase, with a current strength of 3,900. We look forward to breaking through, with your support, the 4,000 mark in the coming weeks and months.

In response to our increased strength, and in a bid to deliver additional fraternity events for our members, we are pleased to announce our plans for 2023.

  • Corps Sunday – 02 Apr 23
  • The Officers’ Club Dinner Night – 19 May 23
  • RLC 30 – 01 Jun 23
  • The Annual Social Function – 20 Jul 23
  • Field of Remembrance – 09 Nov 23
  • Cenotaph Parade – 12 Nov 23

You can download more detail on the above events HERE and HERE

In addition to the above you are reminded/requested to note the following:

  • We have a highly experienced benevolence team on hand should you fall on hard times.
  • We will continue to publish the quarterly copies of The Sustainer in order you are kept up to speed with Corps activities/events which includes publishing last posts and obituaries.
  • There will not be a Cocktail Party or Corps Open Day in 2023 as the funds for these events will be used to offset RLC 30.  The Corps Cocktail Party and Corps Open Day will resume in 2024.
