Reservists show Christmas Community Spirit

Reservists from 234 Squadron, 156 Regiment RLC, Cpl Philip Neale, Pte Robert Coyle, Pte Nick Bioletti and LCpl Jim Parsons, decided to find two local underprivileged families in the Wirral area, through the local charity called ‘ Community Spirit ‘, that could not afford to buy any presents for their children at Christmas. Cpl Neale thought that it was really sad to know they could not afford to buy presents.

Every child should have presents to open on Christmas Day so the four got together and asked shops to donate as well as approaching comrades, families and friends. The response in two weeks was. They had toys for all nine children and took them round to two separate families on Christmas morning. The response from the Parents and children was unbelievable and made it all worthwhile.
