Job opportunity at the Royal Hospital Chelsea

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is searching for a ‘Head of Military Veteran Outreach’. The post holder will foster friendships amongst Armed Forces Veterans and extend to them the comradeship of the Chelsea Pensioners, the community and experience of military life at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

The post holder will also be required to act in the capacity of Chief of Staff (COS) to the Governor and CEO for the control and coordination of Royal Hospital Chelsea emergency responses along with overseeing and sign off on military events. 

The successful candidate will have the ability and skills to develop and deliver outreach and therapeutic programmes for older people or those who may be isolated. Excellent people skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships is also essential.

The post is aimed at those preferably with an ICSC qualification, experience in military junior and mid-range command and staff appointments.
