Army road safety innovation award

The RLC team attached to 3 Med Regiment has won the Army Road Safety Award in
recognition of its innovative road safety projects.

The MT Dept led by Capt Allie Sharp RLC (MTO) and SSgt Keith Sumner RLC (MTWO), competed with units across Fd Army to demonstrate its annual road safety campaign, which includes targeted initiatives and working with the community.

Judging feedback was unanimous, that the team displayed invaluable pre-deployment and equipment care training and forged strong links with the emergency services and school communities.

Cpl Craig Oiller RLC was also recognised for his superb ‘Driving in Kenya’ training package and was presented the Chrystal Bowl by Lt Gen Nick Pope CBE, DCGS.
