Army Cricket win for The RLC

The Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) won the two-day Army Inter-Corps T20 cricket championship after beating the Royal Engineers in Aldershot.

Skipper Spicer Narayan hit 74 and Tade Carmichael added 53 as The RLC cruised to a 64-run win.

The skipper put in what would turn out to be the match-winning performance with The RLC all-rounder blasting his opponents to all parts of the ground, much to his teammates delight.

Spicer Narayan blitzed his way to top score of 74 – including plundering 29 runs from one over. He also took the final wicket as The RLC wrapped up a 64-run victory.

His performance was helped along by RLC danger man Tade Carmichael who was eventually holed out for 53 after hitting a 25-ball 50.

The final score was 33-3 with the Royal Engineers innings never recovering.
