Ale and Ammo

In celebration of the Taste of Winchester Festival 2024, The Royal Logistic Corps Museum is putting on a unique event, merging culture with craft ale.

On Tuesday July 9th, join Museum Director Simon Walmsley for an entertaining talk on the weapons held in the Museum’s collection – from the flintlock to the modern machine gun – whilst enjoying locally brewed Winchester Ale from Alfred’s Brewery. There will be time during the evening to explore the Museum.

Every ticket holder will receive:

1 440ml can of Saxon Bronze Ale – 3.8%

1 440ml can of Winchester Pale Ale – 4.5%

1 440ml can of Aelfred Strong Ale – 6.6%

As part of our commitment to hosting responsible events, ale will be provided in cans that can be enjoyed during the evening or taken away to allow drivers to enjoy the experience safely. Soft drinks, tea and coffee will be available and are included in the ticket price.

Tickets must be pre-booked online – click here to book.
