Sponsorship

Sponsorship enables the wide range of sporting opportunities undertaken by the Army to flourish.

Only authorised sports are defined as core activity and as such, will have the ability to apply for public funding but, limitations will apply in cash terms and in terms of the sport to which can be funded.

SPONSOR US

Sponsorship enables the wide range of sporting opportunities undertaken by the Army to flourish.
All sponsorship arrangements, new and existing ones, come under the Army Sport Sponsorship Directive. This means they must be cleared through HQ Army Sports Head of Sponsorships and Commercial Partnerships prior to signature. This directive not only applies to Army and Corps level Sport Sponsorship but also Regimental level Sport Sponsorship.
Sponsorship can be either direct (managed directly between Corps Sport and Sponsoring business) or Indirect (managed on the Sport’s behalf by Army Sport’s sponsorship agent, Mongoose Sports and Entertainment). Additional policy relating to Direct Sponsorship agreements only can be seen here.
All proposed sponsorship agreements, including renewals, should be forwarded to the Assistant Regimental Secretary, Richard.Stockman256@mod.gov.uk as the central RLC POC in the first instance before any new sponsorship arrangement is signed or agreed. He will engage with Army Sports and Army Commercial Branch to ensure that all agreements are policy compliant. Read more about the management of RLC sport.

This is a significant moment for Steven, a hugely proud and proactive veteran from a strong lineage of military family, who was unjustly discharged from the Army. We remain committed to shaping an inclusive future for all in the RLC. #WeAreTheRLC #youbelonghere ... See MoreSee Less
