RLC attends kids interactive science day

84 school children aged 11-14 years old attended a fun, interactive Science Technology Engineering Maths (STEM) day delivered by the Army and the National Army Museum (NAM) in London.

The RLC was one of the technical corps which successfully delivered a Dragon Runner (bomb disposal robot) stand to inspire, inform and help attract young people to STEM subjects and careers.

After the event one of the teachers wrote: “Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the team for such a fantastic day today. Our students were buzzing about all the things they did on the journey back.”

“Really impressed and thankful to everyone who delivered a session for their enthusiasm and patience with the students throughout the day. A really well organised and fun interactive experience for all.”

ABF South East hosted an incredible Inter-Regiment Dragon Boat Race last Sunday. Eight Royal Logistic Corps regiments gave it their all, but in the end, 27 Regiment took home the coveted trophy.A huge thank you to Henley Dragonboat & Outrigger Racing Team for the boats, and to everyone who came out to support ABF The Soldiers' Charity.
